A light waterproof shell for the walk you still have to do in the rain. The ochre finish is easy to pick out on a grey afternoon, and the lead opening means the coat goes on over a harness without unclipping anything.

Getting the size right
Two measurements decide it: the chest at its widest point, just behind the front legs, and the back along the spine from the base of the neck to the base of the tail.
A raincoat should end at the base of the tail and allow a full stride. If it pulls at the neck or shoulders when your dog walks, it is too small — sizing up is better than a coat that restricts movement.

Care
Hang it to air dry rather than putting it away damp, and check the reflective elements now and then — they are the part that fades first.

Is it fully waterproof?
We call it a wet-weather shell, not waterproof, because no hydrostatic rating has been verified. It handles a shower. Follow the care instructions and it keeps doing that for longer.
Can I clip the lead through it?
Yes, there is an opening for that. Just check it lines up safely with your dog's collar or harness before you set off.
How do I choose a size?
Go by chest girth and back length, not the breed on the label. Between two sizes, favour free movement and a chest that closes properly.
