Where it earns its place
Campsites, patios and the shaded side of the car on a warm day. It also gives a dog a clear "your spot" marker somewhere unfamiliar, which settles some dogs faster than a blanket does.
Use and care
Set it on stable, level ground and check every joint is properly seated before your dog gets on it. Keep it well away from campfires and stoves — the platform is fabric.
Brush off loose dirt and follow the supplied cleaning instructions before it goes away for the season.

Can I leave it out in full sun?
Put it in the shade. Letting air move underneath helps, but a raised bed is not shade and it is no substitute for fresh water and keeping an eye on your dog in the heat.
Is it alright at a campsite?
That is what it folds for. Keep it well clear of the fire and off anything sharp — the platform is Oxford cloth, and a stray ember goes straight through it.
Will it take the weight of my dog?
Check the supplier's weight and dimension figures against your dog before ordering. If the number you need is not on this page, email us — we will get it from the supplier rather than guess at it.
Can my dog sleep on it overnight?
Plenty do, on a patio or in a tent. It is a bed, not a containment system, so a dog that would wander off a blanket will wander off this too.
